Movie Poster Questions

Movie Poster Questions

      1. What is meant by the genre of a film?
  •  The category which the movie belongs under (comedy, horror, romance, etc.)
      2. How might the color scheme of the poster be related to the mood or theme of a film?
  •  Just color can tell us a lot. If the color scheme consists of dark colors (or lots of black), the movie may be depressing, scary, or serious. If the color scheme consists of bright colors then the movie is more likely to be joyous & positive. It really depends on how the colors are used too, whereas red can be seen as blood in a horror movie, or a rose in a romance.
